KIRKUS REVIEW

Garth Wilder's untrained but naturally great voice (comparable to Schumann Heink's) going over a radio network a few weeks after she first knows she can sing, restores her mother's long-lost memory and reunites a family that thought she had deserted them. All this in the setting of a prosperous Idaho ranch with much horsey atmosphere and much to-do about the family background of English nobility. Improbable; indigestible.
