THE MAGIC BUS

Tibor Gergely has done the pictures for this whimsical tale along the lines of Dolbier's earlier ""magic"" books. This continues the adventures of Jenny, the bus that had been outmoded and put away and is now brought out to take care of the overflow. Then a magic gold button appears and a pestiferous small boy precipitates the bus and passengers on a number of confusing journeys. Energetic drawings in splashy colors- slick cover of Durasheen (washable, they say)- 40 pages, with half in color. Merchandise chiefly- at least we feel that discriminating buyers are getting a bit bored with this pattern.
