KIRKUS REVIEW

It never becomes a novel of the criminal mind glorified, but for most of its length the book follows the course of two superbly organized and imaginative rival English gangs competing to spring Rafe Tyrrel from a high security English prison. Tyrrel had robbed the Post Office and hidden trunks full of money. Inspector Martineau plays a waiting/watching game and it's suspense at the click-clickclick pace.
