The indefatigable Granchester luminary Chief Inspector Martineau gets next to a big tickle when the loot from a payroll robbery and unscheduled bodies in the hospital's morgue (and who was cremated, and who wasn't?) set him in a deep dig through the city's night (and day) life. Martineau's findings take him to an undertaker, a doubtful club, and a very black sheep. Procedural and patient.
