CALLING DR. KILDARE

The previous market sets the goal for this Kildare story, as grizzly, choleric old Doc Gillespie decides that his protegÉ is getting into a rut, diagnoscing automatically, without feeling or interest in the human side of his cases. So -- he fires him, and sets a new stage. But Jimmy gets out of hand, falls for the wrong sort of girl, in spite of the bait provided by the old Doc -- and once again Gillespie interferes. A little less meaty than the usual fare -- but facile.
