THE REINCARNATION OF PETER PROUD

Pub Date: Sept. 26th, 1974

Long established storyteller (Spin the Glass Web, First Train to Babylon and the motion picture lot) surfaces with Peter Proud--UCLA professor who is one sixteenth Indian and apparently red blood will tell since Pete is the victim of repeater dreams in which he is a man called X about to be killed by a woman, Marcia. In between martinis--he really needs them--he's into everything else that floats (a Sleep Lab, hypnosis, Spiritual Healing Readings, etc.) before he returns to the site where the tragedy took place and isolates his former not too long-lived self. . . . Holy karma--even if you don't believe a word of what you're reading that's just what you'll be doing--unstoppably.
