The American Boys Club is five hundred strong, a mixture of Chinese, Jewish, Italian, Irish and many other inheritances. They have a coach, an all-American fullback. The hero is Chick Moroski who obtains the great surgeon to operate on his pal with infantile. The latter part of the book is devoted to their camp life. Might be laid in Chicago.
