The best book that I have seen on the rather new field of radio writing. It covers every type of writing involved, -- dramatizations, adaptations, lectures, continuities, news reporting, sports reporting, skits, gags, and so on. The greater part of the emphasis is put on dramatization, as the coming biggest field, and samples are analyzed for the serious student of the subject. Some of the sections have study material, exercises, questions, etc., so this could well be adopted as a text in a writing course touching on the subject. An able, clear-cut, practical book -- an essential book for anyone new at the game, for aspirants, even for professionals.
