KIRKUS REVIEW

One little boy awakens to Spring as it leisurely rears its lovely pink and green head around him. Spring also means a surprise birthday present which mysteriously evokes father's warning, ""you can't hurry nature"". The baby calf born at the height of spring took time to grow like all spring things, but it was certainly worth waiting for.
