INTRODUCING CHARLES DICKENS

This title was reported originally on page 482 of the September 15th bulletin, in the juvenile section, but we wish to call attention to it here in the adult section since it is a book for every age. This is not an opening wedge to Dickens, but a book which will stimulate the discovery -- and rediscovery -- of Dickens, bringing back characters and incidents and places, enriching one's understanding and appreciation.
