KIRKUS REVIEW

The wolf of Lambs Lane is that pest Griswold Jones in disguise--or is it? With the assistance of an absent-minded old lady and some interference from the police, Tammie and her two friends transform Griswold in body and behavior and leave everybody else--including us--guessing. The book looks and sounds like a restored antique until the girls Jump into a swimming pool--and then it Just sounds that way. And we're still wondering about old Mrs. Bumble's improvised magic--can it all be as silly as it seems?
