CARNIVAL TIME AT STROBECK

Rather novel content in the story of a German town where chess is taught in the schools and where the carnival takes the form of a national tournament. The story is readable enough, the style a bit amateurish, but the setting is unique, and the Kurt Wiese pictures are in character, though not up to his best.
