DIPLOMATIC HONEYMOON

Mayals, with the war zones well in hand, (England, Egypt, Sicily, Lisbon) does it again in this story of Alys, tossed overboard by her old fiance to find the process repeated litterally on her return to England -- when she is shipwrecked. Accompanied by an American, Bruce, they are washed up on Sicily -- and Bruce passes her off as his wife to avoid passport troubles. The old fiance turns up there, so does his new girl, but eventually they all escape and Alys makes her mock marriage real. Strictly from hunger.
