KIRKUS REVIEW

Orphaned twins, one brought up in wealth, the other left to plod her way, come to grips when men come into their life, a young politico and his opponent. But after quite a merry-go-round the hardworking, virtuous Mary beats her spoiled sister to the gun. Transparent as cellophane and just as annoying -- and love will make it so -- and the good patient Griselda will always get her man and everything is bound to come out all right if you read Greig long enough -- and personally we think it's Mary Baker Eddy in disguise.
