Ronnie discovers the little stray dog that has been getting in all the neighbors' garbage cans, and with the help of the nice little old lady saves him from the dog pound. Obviously written down for the younger children, 6 to 9, it is probably too difficult reading for the 6 and 7 year olds but the story would appeal most to them. An unimportant little book.
