GOOD LUCK DUCK

Timothy wanted a pet who would play with him in his quiet valley, but he did not expect to win a very noisy duck at the fair who quacked so loudly that he made everyone very unhappy. However, Timothy discovers that the duck is really very sensitive and prefers to whisper in quiet places. The prose is rhythmic and sparkling and the dramatic presentation of the story is lively and fun. Dazzling four color illustrations by Marc Simont with a carnival flavor. With the cloth binding this is an item for Easter trade.
