KIRKUS REVIEW

The Mor have played a vital part in the war, and this book is packed with important material on the brave fighters of the Sulu Sea. One could wish that the author had let their achievements speak for themselves, instead of making the pirates sound like rebellious boy scots. And her excellent background material loses dramatic value by her rather ponderous style and slow sense of pace.
