This is not a self-help book, but a psychological approach to personality based on the ""we"" and the ""ego"". The ""we"" is the desirable, more adjusted feeling of participation, involving the family, the community; the ""ego"" is the basis of all egocentricity, which is typed four ways and which must be broken with maturity. Self-realization, self analysis and reliving the past to determine the cause of maladjustment is the course indicated. The presentation, while intended for the layman, is oversimplified on the one hand, and tortuously involved on the other. There's good basis for fact in all they say, but their private terminology is pretty sickening -- ""Embalmed Original We"", the ""star type"", the ""Nero type"", etc. Roy Dickerson's name is an asset, so watch it anyhow.
