Introducing energy as what gives you ""go power,"" and establishing that ours comes from the sun as light and heat, Berger explains how we derive it indirectly from food and fuel and how we might be able to use stored-up solar energy more directly. This is certainly the easiest presentation yet, and potentially handy as such--though Berger doesn't get much of a boost from Maestro's black-outlined pictures, which, despite the zappy color on alternate pages, have about as much go power as those overlookable classroom charts.
