Michael de la Bedoyere has written a weekly column for the Catholic Herald for many years. This book minces few words. It states plainly that the time has come for Christians to assume the responsibility of their profession. In two sections, one on Yesterday, and one on Today, he outlines the issues which have challenged the effectiveness of Christianity, Nationalism, Socialism, etc. and shows why Christianity has failed to counteract them. This is for Roman Catholics primarily, but the problems are universal.
