KIRKUS REVIEW

The law firm of Horniman, Birley and Craine a bit put out of countenance when the body of a trustee, Smallbones, is found in one of the office boxes for no apparent reason. It is a newcomer to the firm, Bohun, who, with Scotland Yard's meticulous Hazelrigg, is instrumental in digging back, around and under the name the one who has killed twice. Plenty legal pettifoggery here in this stolidly British import.
