KIRKUS REVIEW

The fairly frantic activities of Leith Hadley, when he escapes from the courtroom which has scheduled him for the chair, breaks into the apartment of Christine- a stranger and somnolent (too many phenobarbs), revives her and secures her interest in him and his case. Confronting the witnesses who have testified against him but unable to break their stories, blocked by his own loss of memory, Leith steals and uses some sodium pentothal through which he is able to clear himself- to himself, and then with Christine applies a different kind of needle to his opponents.... Sedation would indeed seem indicated.
