KIRKUS REVIEW

A new stallion named Johnny enters the Spillane sex-sweepstakes and does the old master proud. Amnesia and double switch in identity bring him back to a wide open ""little Reno"" to settle charges on a five year old killing and it isn't long before the female population--all young and tremendously well-stacked--is spending its nights ministering to Johnny and its days helping him solve the killing. Long on credulity but even longer on the chaise-longue.
