KIRKUS REVIEW

Another atavistic adventure for Tiger Mann, Spillane's sibling to James Bond, who when first seen here is cutting out, no more guns, no more kills. But he is unable to refuse a total security assignment-- contacting a Soviet defector via his girl, Sonia whose ""entire body (is) an octopus of emotion."" Emotion notwithstanding, Tiger tracks from bed and bawd through a new-old routine of highly pogrommed activities.
