R.S.V.P. MURDER

Times have changed more than Mrs. Eberhart and this is again a romantically fluffy story of murder which travels between Nice and New York and has an attractively expensive background of designer clothes and decorator touches. Frances Hilliard, whose criminal lawyer father has just died, leaves her with the legacy of a diary which might reopen an unsolved case, the knowledge that five threatening letters were written, and indirectly-Richard Amberly- whom he had cleared of murder but not altogether absolved of guilt. Q.U.E.D.-- her readership which is loyal enough.
