KIRKUS REVIEW

Kristie, a junior at a midwestern college, becomes, through her enthusiasm for swimming, involved in a mystery which has broad paleontological implications. Her track of clues to a prehistoric egg leads her to the bottom of a quarry lake. And in resolving the mystery, she also resolves a three-year antagonism with a rival student,- and finds romance. The details of this novel, somewhat mechanical, though interesting, are vastly upstaged by the abundant and compelling details on skin diving. By the author of Dangerous Headline.
