SKIP A HEARTBEAT

Race prejudice and young love jumbled recklessly together constitute this picture of a Puget Sound high school. Katy Jamison, an Indian, and Pete Clifton, a half-breed, set out to gain respect for the Indians by having a program of Indian war whoops and tom-tom beating. A stranger in the woods appears on the scene and woos Katy in his twenty-five horse power outboard. Meanwhile, Pete dates the hate-Indian snob of the senior class. Unexpected kisses are sprinkled throughout, and melodrama roams at large, adding to this potpourri of loose ends.
