KIRKUS REVIEW

This voodoo-dunit is about Rosemary Leech who goes back to her native Hawaii with her husband whom she suspects of drifting away from her while she slips in and out of trances, where she attempts to escape an old family curse and the specter of her father's disappearance, and where overt attacks against her end tragically with her sister's near-death. It's quite confused and constructed, and it's for women readers, who, like Rosemary, are suggestible.
