KIRKUS REVIEW

This is a sequel to The Wagon to the Star. Mary is still a vital personality, an individual. Her character takes some beatings, and occasionally betrays her in this story of her Senior year, when she switched to another college, because she had a better chance to earn her way. She ran into new rivalries, new problems of sororities and cliques. Sometimes they almost defeated her. And small Dick proved a problem once again. But she ended on a high note of hope for the medical career -- and the personal career ahead.
