KIRKUS REVIEW

A gay, endearing tale of a king who hated purple and had many ""printuplets"" he couldn't quite count. How he ran away, then reasserted himself and solved his problems is the theme of this fantasy. Nonsense tale, based on an old- and unhackneyed- legend. Roger Duvoi delightful drawings capture the spirit of nonsense and will delight all ages. Appealing gift book and a sure favorite. Gay jacket-clear type.
