FOG

Luke, the year before his last in high school, is ""shrunk into himself"" with feelings of restlessness, avoidance and unsureness about his future. There's everything happening to implement these, but toward the end he seems to be a little more resolved. Nothing didactic -- just another of Mildred Lee's highly compatible novels with those twin virtues of recognition and identification broadening the base of its vulnerable appeal.
