NANCY, published in 1932, was an unusually good picture of an adolescent girl, marred by occasional lapses into sentiment, but for the most part spontaneous, amusing and sound in its psychology. This book takes Nancy on to boarding school, and -- in its story, has more basis for popularity than the earlier book. There is, however, more of the stereotyped boarding school story feel -- and it lacks the humor that made the other book outstanding. With the scarcity of good boarding school stories, however, this should have a fairly good market, as it is distinctly above the average.
