KIRKUS REVIEW

Not a good whodunit, but an entertaining yarn, as to background and characters. Quill again forced to extricate Stroganoff (of A Bullet in the Ballet) from involvement in the murder of a ballet-critic, who turns out to be a blackmailer. Problems in detecting complicated by another murder, temperamental idiosyncrasies of the ballet troupe, the local police et al.
