HOW PUPPIES GROW

This photo essay on the postpartum development of a litter of puppies up until the age of 6-8 weeks when one of them ""can learn to be your friend"" has none of the awesome moments of The Birth of Sunset's Kittens (1969). The tame views of puppies nursing, exploring with newly opened eyes and ears and romping with their mother and each other are primarily for the prospective pet owner who won't have a chance to see his dog until it's old enough to be purchased from pet store or kennel.
