KIRKUS REVIEW

In an important nature series, this strikes a new note. It is more a game of observation and experiment than simply play. Miss Selsam shares her observations of the movement of leaves and flowers and vines, showing how things happen by day and night, how plants grow, how they feed, how they do all kinds of active things within the narrow compass of their limitations. Accurately detailed drawings by Fred F. Scherer and some suggestions for experiments give this practical nature-study value.
