Young science material in a novel approach to the food required by the animal (other than human) world. Dinner on the sea, on land and in the air makes an unusual assortment, as the anteater probes with his long snout, as the whale gulps tons of planckton, as the hawk dives for his fish. Special emphasis is placed on the particular equipment with which each animal is provided for obtaining and consuming his particular kind of food. The interest level is split here. Children younger than the 8 to 11 for which this is keyed are abnormally interested inwhat animals eat. At this age level, it would seem the interest slacks off. Try it and see.
