Millie, Wife of Bob (It's All News to Me - p.39) also has seven-league alligator pumps and this is her celebrity- studded memoir. Oddly enough, Millie is more outspoken than Bob in print, for instance about their neighbor Ropert Ripley and the Chinese sign in his master bedroom (""I wish you one thousand lays"") and his record dalliance with Oriental maidens. She emotes equally over her children and a European jaunt with Gloria Swanson. She takes out the best tables at the swankest night spots, tags along with Bob at the Grace-Rainier wedding, goes to a lesbian joint with Louella Parsons and Errol Flynn, yachts with Onassis. Ah, well, Cuba, Moscow, Pamplona, Palm Beach, teaching J. Paul Getty the twist, carousing with Toots Shor..... Man, where can a hip Lilliputian get a passport?
