THE CURE OF ARS

By

Pub Date: Sept. 12th, 1958
Publisher: Farrar, Straus & Cudahy

A fictionalized biography of the famous Cure based on unimpeachable sources and recounting in an appealing way the story of the humble priest who was thought too ignorant to become a priest. It traces the story from boyhood, and recounts his conversion of his village, his fame as a confessor, and his diabolical obsessions. He is such an appealing character and inspiring saint that it would be difficult to write of him in anything but an interesting and stimulating way. The author makes him come alive.
