Harking back to the good-old-days nostalgia of Second Car in Town and Four-Ring-Three, this brings us to the performance of The Acting Rosenwalls which will celebrate the new lighting in Littlefield's Electrified Hotel. Blown fuses threaten to ruin the whole show, but of course the lights come on just in time for a dramatic finale that dazzles the audience and leads even Mr. Vogel, the competing hotel owner, to believe the failure was on purpose. Both the triumph and the period atmosphere are somewhat contrived, but Hafner's posturing, amply decorated, illustrations generate enough energy to keep this trifle alive.
