In the new ``Fashion World'' series—brief overviews of aspects of the fashion industry—an introduction to what it takes to begin and carry on this career, with sharply reproduced color photos and the outlooks of some important photographers presented in brief quotes. Like the others in the series (they cover modeling, designing, and ``street fashion''), this has an upbeat approach, presents very general information, and reflects its British origins—e.g., in the luminaries shown. Of some limited use as a vocational introduction; anyone interested in hard information of any depth will need to go elsewhere. (Nonfiction. 10+)
