It's hard to describe Miriam Schlein's books without repeating them word for word, but here goes. A funny mother and child kangaroo pair play a question and answer duet in Australia that rises to a crescendo of braggadocio and then subsides in the security of mother love that brings this youngster's own admission that he may not be as tall as a tree or have a face as ""funny as a Kookaburra and a koala bear dancing in the moonlight!"". You see? Anyway, this is nice.
