KIRKUS REVIEW

A beautiful book of interest largely to horticulturists, to professionals in the business, to large growers -- and to those with the means to feast their eyes on superb photographs in color of the best in modern horticulture in Holland and England. A joint project this, of British and Dutch collaboration; the photographs made from flowering bulbs, shrubs, roses, dahlias, and so on. There are 120 photographs of blooms, and the introductory text for each section supplies advice on soil, location, culture, etc. A detailed Table of Contents gives descriptive notes, supplemented by captions accompanying the photographs. Indexed for cross reference. Album type book. Defined market.
