Furlong is decidedly pro sexuality and psychoanalysis, anti Christian formalism, for irony and tragedy, against romanticism and comedy. She rarely lapses into didacticism and can be credited with insight, sympathy and sincerity. If our children are shaving their heads and speaking in tongues, then why not this book?
