KIRKUS REVIEW

There's a smart set ring of truth, but it's not too elevated reading, this story of a socialite -- divorcÉe who circulates through New York's cafe society in devious manner. Well dressed pulp, somewhat lurid, somewhat smart. Grace has an eye to the main chance, wants to have her cake and eat it too, but finds that love and luxury do not mix, keeps her rendezvous with cash -- and loses out. Rentals.
