KIRKUS REVIEW

Half a dozen or so story form narratives about pairs of America's smallest animals will be a useful introduction to the mite sized. The hummingbird, the gecko lizard, the shrew, the Gibbs mole are shown in colored scale drawings by Dirk Gringhuis and in their native habitats. The short narratives tell how they hunt, build their dwellings and so forth. Firm stitching.
