Pub Date: Oct. 19th, 1934

Good standard book for the long haul, varying from the usual run by its scope, since it stresses the years beyond babyhood even more than the early years. Problems of discipline, of social adjustment, of entertainment, of adolescence, of ""mental furniture"", of relations between parent and child, parent and teacher, of the painful process of growing up. Movies, books , dancing, boys, etiquette, clothes, good manners and good form, sex problems, money, household cares, diet, and so on. A book for the long haul rather than quick turnover.
