MARCHING WITHOUT BANNERS

By

That tart-tongued California cicerone, Mrs. Kemper Campbell, airing more of her moral observations and legal opinions in a highly vigorous fashion along with the occasional apothegem--""Life has an admirable habit of meeting its obligations."" Once again her page or two commentaries deal with children, friends, incompetent husbands, civic and educational issues, other lawyers and judges, clothes, money, old age and the young. All provide a very casual proving ground of experience and the market by now (Here I Raise Mine Ebenezer and Whom God Hath Joined Asunder) should be as decided as she is.
