KIRKUS REVIEW

Not as glamorous a story, perhaps, as Susannah of the Mounties, but a good tale at that, with an unusual setting for a book for youngsters. Susannah goes with her parents to the gold fields, under Mounty escort, and spends a year of adventure there, in which a dog sledge race and her father's disappearance make the high spots. Watch for release on Shirley Temple picture of Susannah of the Mounties, for plus sales on both titles.
