HOUSE HAPPY

Summer will be over but the silliness lingers on -- in the story of Lucy Butler, divorced and with a come-hither in her walk, who achieves her ambition to have a house with enough bathrooms, and rooms, to take care of her and her two sons. There is all the upside down househunting with its concealed pressure salesmanship; there's the bed she buys which needs a special kind of home; there is finally the house -- and a famous tenant-and all the troubles that can almost overcome a landlord; and there are the convulsions of moving, the boys' uncomfortable contributions to confusion and a Christmas-cozy fadeout for Lucy's real aim -- matrimony.
