KIRKUS REVIEW

Muriel Stafford (""I"" but definitely) takes a job on a small town paper as graphologist (which she is) to find herself, and her special talents, particularly useful in the identification of an unknown murdered man, and in the solution of the crime. The staff of the paper, the interest in the parole of the convict, blackmail, a fraudulent alias, and a second murder culminate in Muriel spotting the killer in a pen and paper chase. Publishers' pick as ""mystery find"". I don't agree.
